FIREFIGHTER SAFE - A "Force for Good" Team
How a team of first responders is teaching others to stay calm, prepared, and safe in every situation.
When we choose a “Force for Good” Champion team, we’re looking for groups that are intentionally making a difference in their world, motivated by a deep sense of purpose and calling. They are not on this list by accident, but by hard work, determination, and integrity.
Nick Seitz and his team at Firefighter Safe are a “Force for Good” Champion team.
While researching this article, I came across a gift Nick’s team had given him earlier this year. It was a block of granite with his name engraved and words that they would use to describe him.
Some of them were…faithful, trustworthy, visionary, driven, leader, virtuous.
We knew right away that we definitely had the right group for this “Force for Good” award.

The Backstory
In 2010, longtime firefighter and paramedic Nick Seitz started his own company, Firefighter Safe. Even though Nick was passionate about saving lives and helping others, starting his own business took a huge leap of faith.
Now, 15 years later, that gamble has paid off. Firefighter Safe has grown from a one-man operation into a nationwide safety training company serving organizations across every industry.
Their elite team, made up of firefighters, paramedics, certified instructors, and rescue technicians, has trained thousands and prevented untold numbers of injuries.
I recently had a chance to ask Nick and Nancy Warner (Director of Administration) a little about the company, the team, and where they are going.
Here’s what they said.
