AMY SNYDER CURTIS - Galbreath Realtors
Consistent. Positive. Passionate about others knowing their true value.
“I nominated Amy because she has been a consistent participant of our CWC group since its inception. Amy is a positive force in our group, our Chamber, and in the community.
The thing I love about Amy is her positive attitude and her ability to see positive in people and situations.”
- Kathi Roetter, Executive Director of the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce
Where do you work, Amy?
Realtor with Galbreath Realtors.
(She has been a realtor for 33 years!)
Tell us a little more about your work?
What I like most about my job is that I get to build relationships that often lead to friendships. It's not just about selling houses; I sell lifestyles!
It's exciting helping those just starting out get into their first home or those moving up! Lives change for many reasons, not all are comfortable or easy. By nature, I'm an uplifter and, when needed, an encourager. Other hats are trusted advisor, expert facilitator, and skilled negotiator!
I love my community and believe leadership is important. When others relocate, I'm able to connect them to people, clubs, and organizations that they're passionate about. Chances are, I'm the girl who's friends with somebody you know, or maybe nobody wants to know.
I think I make a positive impact by being an ambassador to the community and everyone in it. I look folks in the eyes, and I smile a lot. My purpose is to make people feel seen.
What do you want people to know about you?
I don't like working for a living! I prefer living my best life while working!
My slogan is…”Let’s do business and life together!”
What's the best advice you've ever received, and how has it impacted you?
"Fake it till you make it!"
I say YES to uncomfortable things. That's how ya grow!
Basically... “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” - Philippians 4:13
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Making eye contact and people instantly feel their worth and know the love God has for them.
If you could recommend a book, resource, or podcast, what would it be?
"The Greatest Salesman In The World" -OG Mandino
"100 Days Of Believing Bigger" - Evan Marshawn Daniels
"Monkey See, Monkey Do" - Monchichis (JK...that's not a thing, but I'd read it.)

Born and Raised in Troy, Ohio. I'm an Ambassador to the city and recently finished my terms serving on the board of both the Troy Chamber of Commerce and Troy Strawberry Festival.
I'm the widow of Daniel J. Curtis. He was very involved in Dayton leadership as a consultant in Economic Development and at WPAFB, as well as one of the founders of the Wright Brothers Institute.
I've raised 2 outstanding kids!
Chelsea Snyder, 33, is a multi-talented entrepreneur, and Matthew Donahey, 25, is also fully loaded with many skills. He serves as an infantry squad leader in the US Marine Corps.
Where do you attend Coffee with Champions?
Troy Area Chamber of Commerce (sponsored by Abbey Credit Union)
Amy has attended since it started 2 years ago.
What are some words you would use to describe the Champions program?
At CWC, we don't often discuss problems; instead, we discuss possibilities! No matter what topic, we always arrive at the fact that relationships are important.
CWC is casual networking, engaging with different professions in a comfortable atmosphere. Anyone new to the group soon finds it's a safe space full of empowering people. Each week, I look forward to going back.
What has been your most MEMORABLE workshop at CwC?
All of them! Any involved with (the subject of) PURPOSE.
How can people get in touch with you?
